It's Time To Ban Polystyrene Foam

We know that polystyrene foam -- the stuff most of us call Styrofoam -- persists in the environment for hundreds of years. And now, an impartial World Health Organization (WHO) working group has reclassified styrene, a building block of polystyrene foam, as a "probable carcinogen." Clearly, it's time to say goodbye to plastic foam cups and containers.
