Let's Bring Fair Elections to Washington D.C.

Last Tuesday the Council of Washington, D.C., voted unanimously for the D.C. Fair Elections Act. This program would help make our democracy more inclusive by shifting power back to DC voters, and free candidates to run for office without having to rely on large and corporate donors who don't represent the District. Tuesday's vote was a big step in the right direction but the program needs a second vote and funding. Please urge your Councilperson to continue their work by passing and funding the Fair Elections Act.
