Tell Obama to Sign an Executive Order

Dark money -- undisclosed funds from special interest groups -- has grown by a factor of 38 over the course of eight years. That's absurd, and it dramatically affects the way campaigns are run. In 2014, only 29% of all outside spending was transparent, which means it's nearly impossible to determine where 71% of campaigns' outside funds come from.

But there's good news: addressing the issue of transparency can be done with the stroke of a pen. Without going through Congress, Obama can sign an executive order to crack down on secret spending.

Tell the president to sign an executive order requiring federal contractors to disclose their political spending.
